As you can probably tell, this website is still not finished and probably won't be until mid-July.

The concept behind Chips N Cheese is really quite simple. As a DreamHost customer I noticed many people who either needed a customized PHP4/5 setup for some specific application, or they required some form of caching mechanism like eAccelerator to better handle their heavily trafficed sites. The task of installating PHP and such caching mechanisms can be a rather daunting task for an individual who has very limited or no experience with such things, especially working in a *nix shell prompt for the first time!
Hence the concept of Chips N Cheese - to provide a friendly, professional-like service at a very low cost to individuals who wish to operate under a custom PHP environment.

What does Chips N Cheese offer?

Affordable Service

As the saying goes "Time is money", and unfortunately no one person can avoid this concept entirely. However there is only so much time in a day and work and school generally take up a large portion of that precious little time. We at Chips N Cheese understand this concept because it applies to us as well, and thus we cannot provide our services for free. We can however offer them for very low prices!
Chips N Cheese wishes to help individuals avoid wasting the little time they do have (and thus money) by providing an affordable service that gets the job done in a fraction of the time it would take them to do it themselves. We'll even go so far as to provide a refund if you aren't satisfied with our service!

Friendly & Professional Attitudes

While we can't claim to be true professionals, as this is not our main field of expertise, we can claim to treat our customers and their needs in a professional, serious manner. The service we provide is done as professionally, timely, and efficiently as possible to meet both the demands of our customer and the demands of the environment they are running under. We aren't happy unless our service meets and/or exceeds the expectations of our customer - and we're happy to go out of our way to prove it!
Friendly, you ask? We like to see people happy, we like to work with people who feel happy working with us, and thus we hope to develop a friendship with all of our customers. As thus, we're always open to suggestions, criticism, and just general conversation. If you aren't happy with our service - we like to hear about it! If you are happy with our service, we would like to hear about it! If you want to send us cookies... well, I think we'll be quite happy with those as well.

More Than Just PHP Support!

While Chips N Cheese will certainly install PHP extensions like IonCube and Suhosin and any other such related component, we'll also happily work to fulfill any other requsts so long as your host allows it. We do not limit our services to just DreamHost and are completely flexable in that regard. Whether it be a VPS, a dedicated server, or another shared hosting provider - we can install anything, anywhere so long as the means to do so are available.
